Biography
About Brittany
A University of New Mexico School of Law graduate, Brittany earned her Collaborative Law Certification in May 2023 and has been an active advocate for families since. During law school, she was a W.K. Kellogg Foundation Child and Family Justice Scholar and worked as a student technician for the Director of the Corinne Wolfe Center for Child and Family Justice. She also participated in the Child and Family Justice Clinic, gaining hands-on experience serving New Mexico families, and served on the Executive Board for Moms of Law.
Before becoming an attorney, Brittany spent 14 years working as a paralegal in both the private and public sectors. Her prior experience in insurance defense, medical malpractice, employment defense, healthcare law, and adult guardianship cases gave her a strong foundation in procedure and client communication. Brittany credits this background with her client-focused approach and deep understanding of the challenges families face.
Brittany's passion for family law is deeply personal. A teen mother and high school dropout herself, she approaches her work with empathy and advocacy, understanding firsthand the obstacles families can face and the resilience it takes to overcome them. As a first-generation attorney, she is especially dedicated to Guardian ad Litem and pro bono work, where she can represent children and give back to the community.
Known for her approachable, client-centered approach, Brittany believes in working collaboratively with clients to find solutions that meet their needs and protect their families. She strives to be both a strong advocate and a steady guide through emotionally challenging legal situations.
